Di sisi lain dia juga meminta Rudd untuk melakukan hal serupa jika kalah.

Bila Kevin Rudd menang dalam pemungutan suara Senin, maka kabinet Australia bisa runtuh, pasalnya sekalipun mayoritas namun parlemen Partai Buruh hanya unggul satu kursi atas oposisi. Dan keunggulan itu bergantung pada koalisi Buruh dengan dua anggota independen parlemen dan satu orang dari Partai Hijau. Di Indonesia secara hukum, setiap warga negara mempunyai hak yang sama, artinya kewajiban yang sama.Jika ada suatu hal yang dilakukan dengan tindak kekerasan, pastinya semua pihak tidak akan setuju.

Pramono Anung, Wakil Ketua DPR dari Fraksi PDI-P mengatakan, pemerintah perlu mengkaji ulang keberadaan Front Pembela Islam (FPI). Presiden, seharusnya tak hanya mengimbau jika ada ormas yang melakukan arnakis, tetapi perlu mengambil tindakan tegas.

Aktivitas FPI di Kalteng ditolak masyarakat Dayak di Kalteng. Keberadaan ormas itu dikhawatir kan akan membuat masyarakat tidak tenang. Masyarakat di Kalteng sempat mengepung petinggi FPI di Bandara Tjilik Riwut, namun meski ditolak, Ketua FPI Habib Rizieq Syihab bersikukuh tetap akan mendirikan FPI di Kalteng. Rizieq menambahkan, FPI tetap akan didirikan di seluruh wilayah NKRI, terutama di Kalteng.

Salah satu anggota FPKS mendesak Marzuki untuk segera meminta maaf dengan terus memotong Ketua DPR itu setiap kali hendak berbicara. “Sebentar, tolong kalau dipotong terus lalu kapan saya bisa berbicara, Marzuki. Setelah interupsi berhenti, Marzuki Alie melanjutkan. “Saya tadi salah mengucapkan dengan menyebutkan PKS sebagai Partai Keadilan Sosial. Untuk itu saya minta maaf.” Permintaan maaf itu pun langsung disambut tepuk tangan.

Selain itu, hal-hal kecil lainnya juga menjadi bahan interupsi. Misalnya saat anggota Fraksi Gerindra yang merasa didiskrimnasi saat nama fraksi mereka tidak disebut oleh pimpinan sidang. Selain itu, ratusan anggota dewan juga menuding Marzuki Alie tidak konsisten dan melanggar keputusan Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) yang telah menganulir UU bahwa BBM mengacu kepada ICP. Walaupun kericuhan terjadi, sidang paripurna yang dijadwalkan akan selesai pada pukul 00.00 WIB masih terus berlangsung. Sebelumnya, sidang paripurna untuk menentukan APBNP 2012 sempat ditunda selama 3,5 jam. Hal ini membuat jengkel partai oposisi, yaitu, PDIP, Gerindra, dan Hanura.
